What do you usually do when you are really bored of doing something?
For me, I usually jumping around from one website to another to find an inspiration.
Back to January 2015, it was summer holiday down here, in New Zealand. I was really bored writing my thesis, I ran out the inspiration to write, and most of my friends went back to their home. I know clearly that Auckland is one of the big cities in the world where there’s always someone held a live performance. I also know clearly that I can’t afford the concert ticket. So, I usually open the website (ticketmaster.co.nz), and didn’t buy anything.
But, that day, when I open the website, I saw something. I saw that The Script was going to come in May. I checked the ticket price, and turned out it was below the average price = I could afford to buy it!! I was so freaking happy. Since I didn’t want to watch it alone, I texted one of my partner in crime, asked her to watch it with me and she said yes.
Long story short, I bought the ticket in January and went to the concert in May. It was my first time went to a concert in New Zealand. The concert was held in Vector Arena. It is a big indoor space and fit around 12000 seats, can be used for sports or entertainment event. It's not that big compared to the concert places in Indonesia or Japan (because I had the experiences watch concert in Japan and Indonesia).
The concert should start at 7 pm but the gate open at 6 pm. I chose to watch it in the floor standing area. The reason, I wanted to watch them close up. I wanted to get the front line, then I came earlier.
The weather was nice, not that cold not that hot. I only wear one layer sweater and green pants. The gate opened in the right time and the crowd entered the hall. I always amazed with the way people lining up in here. They waited patiently. I remembered, the people behind us were a bunch of teenagers around 18yo to 20yo. They were five of them and two of them were a bit high. Because they talked so much and a bit too loud. Right before the gate opened, I really wanted to go to the bathroom. I was afraid I had to line up from the beginning again. But I couldn’t wait anymore, I had to go. I went to the bathroom and when I got back, they were gone. The line changed and I couldn’t find my friend. I was a bit panicked since my ticket was with her. Thankfully, I noticed the girls who were behind me earlier. I talked to them and they showed me where was my friend. All the people gave me the way to my friend. They didn’t think that I tried to steal their line or what. They opened their line, so I could get to my friend. I was touched. I don’t think I will get the same treat if I was in my own country.
It was my first time, and I noticed some interesting points:
- Everyone want to get closer to the stage, but they do it calmly, really calm. They were not rushing, they were more like “if I can get closer it will be great, but if not, it’s not really big deal”.
- There’s a food and drink stall in the lobby and we are allowed to have food and drink while watching the concert. Of course, they sell alcohol. People drink responsibly and I like it. I don’t really have any problem with people who drink during the concert. I just don’t like the smell of beer, I can’t stand it. Unfortunately, the lady behind me had a beer and it was a bit distracting for me. Thankfully, she finished after the opening performance finish.
- There was a last minute change of the performer and they (the organizer) emailed me, several hours before the concert. Informing that due to some reason (I forgot the exact reason), the opening performance had to change to someone else. Even though I didn’t really care about the opening, I was impressed with the email. Letting us know that there was some change.
Okay, I think I already talked too much, but I haven’t shared anything about the concert itself. The concert was a few minutes late, but still in the tolerable ways. The opening remarks when The Script enter the stage was beyond great. They also did some interactions with the audience. The best part of the concert for me was when Danny asked the audience that he wanted to do something crazy. He wanted us to call our ex, and the first person who got picked up by their ex, have to give the phone to Danny. You know what he did?? He holds the phone and he sang ‘Nothing’ to someone ex. It was a really awesome crazy idea. Lucky to you, a young lady, you could tell your ex that it was all nothing and Danny sang it for you.
End of the day, I was really happy finally I gain one more experience while in Auckland, went to concert. Time to off to bed.

Dear Auckland, Happy Birthday!
Happy 175th anniversary, Auckland.
Yup, 26th January is Auckland's birthday. Bunch of entertainments, exhibitions, and events were being held in the town. It became long weekend in Auckland, no school, no work on Monday. I went to the some of the events on Sunday. It was really awesome celebration for me.
I started my Sunday with going to Stardome in One Tree Hill. I went to the planetarium and joined the trip to Jupiter for 15 minutes only. So fast isn't? It was my first time go to a planetarium and I was amazed with all the information and the shows over there. Usually, visitor need to pay $10 for the show and $25 for the special show, but I only pay $2 yesterday. Because it was a special occasion due to Auckland's birthday. I did some groceries after that. Since, there is a big supermarket with cheap prices close to the planetarium. I don't want to miss it, buying what I need (I ran out shampoo and sausage) with cheaper prices. I continued my day with scrolling around the city center, shopping some stuffs, checking on the clothing prices, trying my luck to find a good price of cloth.
Anyway, back to the celebration of Auckland, I went to the port, queens wharf after that. They decorate the port into some play ground with the beautiful gate welcoming us.
The Gate
I listened to the story telling about Auckland and the country at the queens wharf. There are also some exhibitions over there. Some of them exhibit handmade cloth, painting, and other crafts. I didn't buy anything from there, except postcard limited edition.
Then, I spent my afternoon in Viaduct (10 minutes walk from the port), enjoying my ice cream while watching some kids playing around. Such a lovely. However, since it was really crowded and I have been out since the morning, I walked around looking for a spot where I can take a rest. Thankfully I found a bench where I can put my ass and have some rest.
But, guess what, the area where I sit was actually an area for a performance. It turned out that there are three street performances who's going to perform in the area.So I ended up watching the show for the rest of my afternoon. Then without realizing, it's already 9 pm, 30 minutes left before the fireworks. The fireworks is my main reason to go out on Sunday. I want to watch the firework from the good spot. So, me and my friends look for the best spot to watch it.
It is said that the fireworks will be off from two different places, the sky tower (top picture) and queens wharf (bottom picture). I was thinking it will be better if I could see both of them, so I decided to see it from viaduct. Thankfully I made the right decision, I could see both of the fireworks! The fireworks was better than during New Year's Eve, yet it will be better if they do it in different times. Oh well, even though it happened like that, I still love it. Overall it was lovely Sunday, I could watch bunch of performances, taking a lot of pictures, ate good food, and enjoying both of the fireworks.
Once again, happy birthday Auckland. I wish the town will be better in every aspects in the next future. See you next time!

One of my friend asked me to accompany him guiding japanese junior high school students who were staying in his place for homestay around Auckland. We went to maritime museum, which it was my first time go to museum in this country. The museum is located near city center of Auckland and it's free for citizen of this country.
The Gate
That's what local people in our hotel said when we asked how to get to Canti beach. So last december, me and some of my friends went to South Lampung to attend an invitation from one of my mom's friend. Since we went there by car, we decided to visited some beach before go back to Jakarta and we could only search the information about the beach on the internet since the local people in our hotel did not know about it.
How to get there is not that difficult actually based on my experience. If we are from Bakaheuni port, then just go look for Kalianda Mosque, and turn left go straight follow the road. It's around 35 kilometer from the port. The road will become smaller and smaller and surrounded with local people house on the both sides. Then in the end of the road, there will be big gate on the left side, and just turn left. People will guide us to get there since they are super nice with the tourist. Important to remember, the road is only available for one car, so just pray that no one is coming from other sides. We need to pay 5000 IDR if we use car for the entrance fee.
Can you see three islands over there? It's part of Krakatau Mountain, the name of the islands are Sertung Island, Rakata Island, and Panjang Island. I think if we are lucky, we can go there by rent a boat from the fishermans.

The name is Marina Beach, located in South Lampung, Indonesia. Not all people know about this beach since it's difficult to get there. But, based on my experience, it will be easier to get there from Kalianda Resort. So, if departed from Bakaheuni port, we need to look for Kalianda resort first. Then, just go directly follow the road until you find white gate.
Actually in the past, the beach was crowded but since there is no more tourist came into this place and there is no treatment from government nor local people, this place is closed. When me and my friends went there last December, the gate was closed with big bamboo and we need to cross the side road to got there. Lucky us, we met local people who helped us to show the right road so we could park the car safely.

Since there is no one selling food or drink, better to bring it or eat before get there and if you bring the food or drink, do not forget to bring your garbage back home, do not leave it there. Furthermore, there is no toilet also over there, better to do it before get there.

This is the temple that located in the center of Nara Park. It's called Todaiji Temple means The Great Eastern Temple and it was build in 752 as the head temple of Buddhist temples in Japan on that time. The admission fee is super cheap in my opinion, only 500 yen. With that you can enjoy the temple until you satisfied and bored.

So what is inside the temple? Since this temple is the head temple, there must be something different over there. There is a super duper big Buddha statue in the main hall. His hand is as tall as human. Here's I upload the picture so you can imagine how big it is.

There are also some other statues and interesting miniature with all the explanations inside the temple. But must be remembered, since it's Buddhist temple, most of people come here for religion purpose so we must respect them. If I'm not mistake, there's a sign in front of the temple that we can't take picture there but we can take a picture inside without flash.

Welcome to Nara Park~! Only 5 minutes walk from the station and more than 1,000 wild deer will greet us. Hello Deer~!

This public park is established in 1880 and since this is public, so everyone can come and spend their time playing with the deer. The visitors can feed the deer with senbei (crackers) that available over there. The senbei price is affordable.But need to consider that since the deer are wild, the visitor must be very careful if they bring senbei. The deers eat crackers and they will run over the visitor to get it. Based on my experience, better to put it inside the bag and feed them a little, and try to look for the lonely deer. Because if you feed bunch of deer, they will come to you aggressively.

However, no need to be afraid of them. To be honest, they are super cute and lovely. As long as you walk in a cool face and not show any interest to feed them, they will not come to you.

My suggestion, try to walk until the temple which located in the center of the park and you will find more lovely deer to be feed. Then do not forget to have a look into the temple. There is something inside. Enjoy!
Day 3, Korea Trip 2012 Part 3. Shopping in the end of the day | ３日目，韓国旅行２０１２パート３．日の終わりでショッピングする．
Bukchon area is located in upper side of Seoul and we're heading down to Cheonggyechon in the afternoon. But before that we stopped by in National Folk Museum Korea. It's connecting with Gyeongbokgung palace, another good palace in the center of the town. Nice place to know more about history of Korea.
However if you go straight from Gyeongbokgung palace gate, you will see King Sejong Statue in the center and if you come closer, you can go down and enjoy the museum inside. Not far from there, you can also see statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, the korean naval commander.
私達は午後にBukchonエリア，ソウルの上側におりからCheonggyechonまで向かってる．しかしその前に，韓国の国立民俗博物館に立ち寄った．その博物館はGyeongbokgungと接続でおり，またGyeongbokgung宮殿は他のソウル真中である良い宮殿だ。 韓国の歴史を知りたいためには韓国の国立民俗博物館は良い所だ．
しかし，もしGyeongbokgung宮殿の正門からまっすぐ行ったら，中央にSejong王の像が見られる．そして，もし近ずく行ったら，下には博物館があって，内部を楽しみ見ることができる．その像から遠くないところに，韓国海軍司令官の像，Admiral Yi Sun-sinもう見られた．
After satisfied with the unexpected visit to those museums, we continue our today's journey. It's nice that we put Cheonggyechon as our next destination. We could take an afternoon break, enjoying the view.
美術館へ行くのは民族した後，私達は次の目的地を続ける．次の目的地はCheonggyechonになったは良かったと思う．あそこで私達は午後の休憩を取ることができるし，景色を楽しみ見るもできた．

I did not go to europe, just not yet. This is just Huis Ten Bosch, a beautiful place in Nagasaki. You better come to here during spring, because actually there is nothing you can enjoy except the beautiful of tulip. But they have some interesting museums inside such as teddy bear museum, 3D museum and so on. The ticket fee start from 3,200 yen until around 5,000 yen (i forgot). they provide three kind of preference of ticket fees that you can choose.
