"Eh, never heard about it"
April 01, 2013That's what local people in our hotel said when we asked how to get to Canti beach. So last december, me and some of my friends went to South Lampung to attend an invitation from one of my mom's friend. Since we went there by car, we decided to visited some beach before go back to Jakarta and we could only search the information about the beach on the internet since the local people in our hotel did not know about it.
How to get there is not that difficult actually based on my experience. If we are from Bakaheuni port, then just go look for Kalianda Mosque, and turn left go straight follow the road. It's around 35 kilometer from the port. The road will become smaller and smaller and surrounded with local people house on the both sides. Then in the end of the road, there will be big gate on the left side, and just turn left. People will guide us to get there since they are super nice with the tourist. Important to remember, the road is only available for one car, so just pray that no one is coming from other sides. We need to pay 5000 IDR if we use car for the entrance fee.
Can you see three islands over there? It's part of Krakatau Mountain, the name of the islands are Sertung Island, Rakata Island, and Panjang Island. I think if we are lucky, we can go there by rent a boat from the fishermans.
